What’s the best part of your job?
What’s the worst?
“When bad things happen to good people.”
This week is National Police Week honoring America’s law enforcement community. Back in 1962, then President Kennedy set up May 15th as National Peace Officers Memorial Day to honor those who have lost their lives in the line of duty protecting us. It seems sometimes, that we only hear the negative side of what happens with police. There is much good that officers do on the job that goes unrecognized. For most in Law Enforcement it’s not just a job, but a way of life. Many are very involved helping in their communities on their own time.
Take the time to say “thanks” this week to those officers you know…and even don’t know. It’ll be an encouragement to them!
